Both the living room and the dining room are their own distinct spaces, with separating double doors should you choose to have privacy or ambiance separation. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need — cookware, utensils, a coffee maker, and more — to feel right at home. It features a large kitchen island with plenty of space for meal preparation. 🛏 Master Bedroom #1 (Ground Floor): King bed, entrance wardrobe room, TV, and private ensuite bathroom, filled with natural light and shades, with private double doors leading directly to the backyard patio. Next to the kitchen is the laundry room (in-unit washer & dryer for your convenience) and the guest half bathroom. Upstairs, three comfortable bedrooms await: 🛏 Master Bedroom #2: King bed, 2 closets, TV, ensuite double-sink bathroom, and its own private balcony overlooking the backyard patio with views of Lake Merritt. 🛏 Front Bedroom (Bedroom #3): King bed, Smart TV, and deep closet space. The front bedroom windows are currently being retrofitted with soundproof glass (expected completion mid-November; earplugs are provided in the meantime). 🛏 Middle Bedroom (Bedroom #4): Two beds (1 Twin and 1 Full size), Smart TV, and large closet space. A comfortable dedicated workspace is also set up for those needing to focus on remote work. A double-sink bathroom with a walk-in shower serves the Front and Middle bedrooms. Situated in the cool East Bay waterfront/coastal microclimate near Lake Merritt (average summer highs in the low 70s°F), the home is equipped with dual-zone central gas heating and ceiling/portable fans rather than central air conditioning.
Other Details to Note
This home is located in an urban neighborhood, so guests may hear normal city noise. There is sidewalk parking in front of the property, for one small vehicle, which requires careful parking. Otherwise, street parking is available nearby though may be limited at busy times of the day - generally on Lakeshore Avenue behind the property, facing the lake. Exterior security cameras are installed around the outside of the property for the safety of our guests and the home. There are no cameras inside the house or in any private areas. No parties or events are permitted without advanced approval. Please respect quiet hours and our neighbors. Only registered guests are allowed on the property unless approved in advance. Self check-in is available for your convenience.
